Agents Still and Hollahan are on a special assignment-neutralizing a mysterious terrorist mission known only as Crescent Fire. The terrorists' weapon is a Scud missile-and their target is the White House. Good thing these boys know how to work under pressure.
First of all, the content of Crescent Fire is very timely, considering terrorism is a subject that has come up quite more than often in this day and age. David M. Salkin takes it to the next level in this short-chaptered page turner, twisting post nine eleven events into modern-day occurences. From witty remarks to descriptive paragraphs, this novel is straight-forward action, packed in a softcover body. Don't let size fool you -Salkin delivers anxiousness that allows time to pass without regard- making a plane ride from overseas feel like a cab ride from DC to Langley, Virginia. Research is a must for any novel, and this author definitely did his homework. Overall: good entertainment for readers of any age, especially for American and patriotic audiences, or anyone affected by recent terrorism. I can't wait to read Salkin's next one. -Ross Cockerham

David Salkin has fashioned an engaging tale with realistic heroes doing the kind of work we can only hope is duplicated in the next volume. The perfect read for a trans-Atlantic flight!

What a great book, and one that touches on what's wrong with our foreign policy. It's a thumping great read......perfect for quiet time on a airliner or just before bed. The good guys win- but just barely......I'm waiting for Mr Salkin's next gift.

Agents Still & Hollahan are so real, and they draw you in -- you become their friends. I couldn't help but think of Nelson DeMille as I read Crescent Fire -- David M. Salkin is right up there with the big guys. A good read, and appealing to a variety of personalities.
Crescent Fire is red hot!

I had no expectations when I purchased this book, but if I would have had high expections they would have been surpassed. This book has it all...relevance, intrigue, humor, great war toys and intricate looks into the passion of both the good guys and the bad guys. It should be made into a full length movie. I can't wait for the next book, Necessary Extreems. David Salkin rocks!!!
