The seeds for this book were formed years ago, specifically in my first book, "Lessons from the Landscape", published in 2005. Sharing my lessons learned, including the successes and failures, has been a priority of mine in the hope that other small business owners and individuals will not make some of the mistakes I have made. Equally important are the ingredients of success which have served me well over the years including: optimism, self-confidence, a positive attitude, integrity, self-discipline and many others.
