The Old West ABC

This is a zesy examples of both the ABCs and a devotion to the way of the west. An alphabet book that goes through a couple of terms from cowboy/western life for each letter of the alphabet book. It ends with z which describes a zillion other things about western life that didn't fit into the book. This is one of the most fun alphabet books I've seen! James Rice pulls out the most unthinkable terms from the cowboy life and writes the descriptions in a very fun, western way. There's a lot of personality in the writing and the pictures, which are hysterical. The scary part is that it's actually educational in both teaching the alphabet and some stuff about cowboy life. Any kid who likes cowboys would love this.
