My mother is a cookbook addict, but this is the one she always goes to for cookie recipes... My two sisters and I have grown up with this being the staple cookbook and since my mother had worn hers out, I purchased one for her and one for each of my sisters.. I was smart enough to grab my grandmothers for myself when she passed... I've enjoyed it ever since, and have passed along my grandmother's notations throughout the book.. It's a must have for mothers who have children coming home from school that are looking forward to cookies on they're arrival...

Country Fair Cookbook: every recipe a blue ribbon winner

This book is great for beginner and for long time country fair exhibitors. I originally had this book in 1979 and lost it in the move to our new home. I have received many ribbons from using the recipes in this book. It has great advice on how to improve your entries. The Yeast Donut recipe is the best ever!!!! As winner of over 1,000 blue ribbons, I consider this book to be my "Fair Entry BIBLE". I am giving a copy to my daughter to continue the tradition. Thanks.
