Must Have

This is a great book for a family that is not necessarily bilingual but has an interest in learning. The Spanish/English translations and pronunciations are simple and the illustrations are fabulous. We checked it out at the library and ended up ordering our own. Everyone in our family of 5 enjoys this book. I wish there were more like this!

Excellent picture book for preschoolers

Counting Ovejas is an excellent introduction to Spanish colors and counting for preschoolers. This book captivated my 3 year old. She pointed at the sheep on each page and repeated the Spanish colors and numbers as we read to her. The phonetic pronunciation guide is a great aid for readers, like my husband, who are not familiar with the Spanish language. The straightforward text along with the colorful illustrations kept my daughter's attention throughout the story. This is a great book for bedtime, or anytime! Highly recommended!

One of a kind

What a great way to teach Spanish to young readers. In addition to the usual Spanish/Engish text found in regular bilingual books, this one also includes phonetic spelling of the Spanish. Brilliant! I've never seen another book like this. WOW.

Wonderful Bilingual Couting Book for Young Children

This is a fantastic book to use with both Spanish- and English-speaking children. Bold, colorful images are well-suited for the target age level. Pronunciation guide is very helpful for readers that do not know Spanish.
