It's ten minutes to bedtime--are Bandit and Spike ready for bed? It doesn't look like it. Children will delight in following the steps the silly pair take as they clean their room, brush their teeth, and eventually fall asleep. Illustrations.
My son received this for Christmas when he was 2. We read it every night for years. He's 9 now and still enjoys looking through it, and reading it to himself. I saw this printed with different names for the characters and probably because I'm use to Bandit and Spike (and think they are very cute names), I was sad to see the change. But it looks like maybe it isn't being printed at all anymore. A shame, because we have nieces and nephews I want to get it for and I have to get them used books and hope they are OK for gifts. Anyway 5 huge stars for a fun book with wonderful illustrations.
Terrific bedtime story!

I bought this book for my son when he was two and having trouble sleeping. He is now almost 4 and it's still his favorite bedtime book! He loves lifting the flaps and finding the hidden numbers. After two years of abuse only one of the lift-a-flaps has had to be taped into place. Highly recommended.
