Possessed by alien ineffable forces since 1979, and after having pretended to be a regular human being for too long, the entity known as Laurent Coupet began to draw a cosmic interplanetary communication manual in the form of a comic book, entitled "Cosmic Trip". Its purpose: to hack hominid minds and open doors in the computing device inside their heads. Beginning as a painted notebook improvisation in 2021, and ending in some of the most elaborate comic pages ever painted, Cosmic Trip is the story of a sci-fi escape, a voyage into a strange fantasy world, and, above all, an invitation, all rendered in maniacally-painted surfaces, encrusted with ink and white-out, every surface a ragged exploding splendor. Part giant monster battle, part relationship drama, and all-parts hand-hewn art object, Cosmic Trip is a graphic novel like none before.
