Just like butta...

I will agree with the other fans of Ms. Arthur that this book was another in the line of `good reads'. Smooth as silk, again Ms. Arthur wrapped me up. I was a captive audience while reading it, and yet it didn't make me regret not having brought anything else to read while I traveled. I read the book in less than a day and enjoyed every minute of it. Ms. Arthur's style is very relaxed and cool and the characters she develops are not over-dramatized but more like, someone you might meet at work. I enjoyed the secondary characters... Grammy and Kahlil and didn't feel they were just slapstick jokesters throw in to break up the monotony. Even though the plot revolving around a coporate hacker was a simple one, and could have been written in a short story format as it was a pretty simple 'mystery' to solve, Ms. Arthur took it to a full length novel, by fully developing the characters, making us care about them and like them and making us want to see how they would react to this and that. I was so lulled and enjoying that aspect of the book, that I didn't even try to figure out who done it... I just let it come to me. Her books are like that, you just feel like sitting back and letting the story `get told'. Another GREAT one AC... and I can't wait to read the next.

'Corporate Seduction' was my first A.C. Arthur book, and it absolutely won't be my last by Ms. Arthur! It was superb!! I could not put it down. Great storyline and a very well told story. Everyone of the characters were well defined and made you want to rally around them, or stay away from some of them. This book is filled with intrigue, love, humor, passion and I couldn't put it down. I reread it a few times while I wait for more of this author's books to arrive. She is a must read. So go ahead and just enjoy this book! It is a most pleasurable read!!!

Corporate Solution

THIS was a good book that I hated to see come to an end. Khalil Franklin was hired by his friend, Keith to investigate emails being sent to employees at his law firm; however, after meeting Reka Boyd, the email sender almost became secondary to Khalil. When Khalil and Reka almost hooked up in the first few chapters, I wondered what more there was to offer for the remainder of the book. I was pleasantly surprised as I kept reading a story I could not put down until I finished. Not only was the relationship/problems between Reka and Khalil enough to keep reading but the characters of Tacoma and Grammy are actually people you feel you know. Khalil managed to solve the email case, but who and why was another reason to keep reading. As a fan, Ms Arthur did not disappoint me with this book and I am looking forward to what is next and for more.

Reka Boyd is a name that might be remembered from this authors previous novel Office Policy. Well Reka is back with yet another dynamic appearance in this wonderfully erotic and romantic tale. Reka, a paralegal assistant at Pace and Associates (P & A), law firm is assigned to assist the IT guy in his quest to locate the perpetrator of a series of erotic and highly charged emails circulating throughout the office. Khalil Frankin is posing as the IT guy but is actually the devastatingly handsome owner of Franklin Investigations. As a favor to a friend, Kahalil goes undercover to find the mystery person sending emails hot enough to leave the firms employees hot and bothered. Only the employees are not the only ones bothered or hot. Reka sparks a flame in Khalil that has him headed for the closest cold shower. I sincerely enjoyed these characters; they remind you of everyday people. Especially the ever comical Gram and Reka's flamboyant side kick Tacoma. You will find that when you are not in heat (so to speak) that you are over in a corner doubled over laughing. This novel is a must have. Not because the writing is good; because it's excellent. Not because the characters standout; because you will meet some of the most memorable. Not because of the love scenes; because they are HOT. This story will have you on the edge of your seat because of all the drama in it! Reka and Khalil are a hot couple! Tacoma will have you in stitches as well as Grammy. Great book and a must read for all A.C.'s fans!
