Solid corporate finance overview

From Fabozzi's finance series, this is a solid (and somewhat technical) read for those thinking about their company's financing strategy. Kenneth H Marks, lead author of The Handbook of Financing Growth: Strategies, Capital Structure, and M & A Transactions (Wiley Finance)

Book was packaged very well and arrived quickly.

Another classic from Prof. Bierman.

Corporate Financial Strategy may be considered a companion book to Bierman and Smidt's textbook, The Capital Budgeting Decision. Bierman's concise book is a highly readable monograph that does not employ advanced mathematics. There are already many books on the market about raising shareholder value. Some of them were written to promote "value based management". Bierman's purpose is not to push any product or service. He offers a lucid and objective treatment of corporate financial strategy. Bierman strips away all the sales and marketing rhetoric that some consultants use, and delivers a book which evinces mastery of the subject.

This is a book that could only have been written by an authority on the subject.
