Converting Auto Engines for Experimental Aircraft

Being a mechanic, this book was "right on track". It had some great suggestions, that make alot of sense, Owning an Ultralight, with a Rotax engine. I am looking foward to building one, and am looking at all the engine possibilities. This gives me hope, answers, and ideas.

An excellent homebuilder's reference.

I don't see how Finch could have done better. This is a superb work by a very knowledgeable author. All the information is there for you to design a PSRU, but your design should be life and stress-checked for safety.

Must read for homebuilders & should read for LyCont owners

Aircraft homebuilders usually do so to save money. They should read this book to try to get their mind out of the rut that the outrageously overpriced aircraft engine is a necessity. Many homebuilt aircraft have flown for years with auto engines and Finch explains how others have done it and saved big money engines, maintenance and fuel. My copy of the book is dog-earred from re-reading the vast gold mine of detail on just how to do it.
