Good Conversational Text - Beginner to Intermediate

If this is the same text I had in college (25 years ago), and it seems to be, it is a really great book. I really regret having given it away in the time since then. The book is divided into chapters, each approximately two or three pages, consisting of topic drawing (e.g., gas station, theater) and list of basic vocabulary and idioms. It is a good reference and starting point for building vocabulary for conversation. I also had a similar edition for my French studies - and I also gave it away! Update: I may have confused this with the book with a similar title by Bonnel Sedwick, or perhaps it is simply updated as I see the one author is named Sedwick. If so, still probably a good text book.
