how to be a disciple all of the time

This book is the best I have read on the subject of true discipleship, i.e.,how to be a disciple all of the time-at work, home, and play! Brett Johnsoninsists that convergence, the overlapping of the different spheres of one'slife under the umbrella of our identity in Christ, is what the Christian iscalled to do. His book offers many practical ideas and exercises to defineand shape the process for each person. The chapters on marriage and thedesert experience alone are worth the book. I have referred the book tomany friends who are serious about trying to be a disciple all the time,wherever they are. Throw out the idea of balance and replace it withconvergence!

Considering my path towards Convergence

While reading Convergence by Brett Johnson, I was able to grasp a better understanding about some of the experiences that I have faced in the last couple of years. Going through some of the different seasons has brought me closer to understanding my purpose and what God has made me to be. It is exciting to see how God has worked in my life, even when I was in the "Desert". This was a great book in helping me to consider and think about what choices I will make for the future.
