Seeing Jesus in the Book of Hebrews

This is a wonderful, practical daily devotional for everyday reading. The author is authentically real, shares his own life stories and my own heart has been convicted, repentant and revived as I have read these delightful insights into the book of Hebrews. It is the best devotional I have read taken from Hebrews. We personally know the author and know that all he writes is lived out in his life. As the old saying goes, "He doesn't just talk the walk, but he walks the talk!" I would most heartedly recommend this book to you if you are wanting to grow deeper in your faith in Jesus Christ.

Highly recommended for Christians of all denominations as a source of daily inspiration and spiritua

Written by former missionary to Africa Donald R. Jacobs, Consider Jesus: Daily Reflections on the Books of Hebrews offers a different mediation for each day of the year derived from passages of the Book of Hebrews in the New Testament. Each insight is several paragraphs long, connected to a key Book of Hebrews quote, and concludes its insightful message with a simple free-verse poem. "Atheists are convinced that nothing will remain. They wager everything on that. Life is meaningless, they claim... Hebrews tells us, 'Once more I shake not only the earth, but also the heavens... so that what cannot be shaken may remain.' (12:26-27) God is the eternal reality. All else will perish. I want to build my life on what will remain." Highly recommended for Christians of all denominations as a source of daily inspiration and spiritual renewal.
