Generally a very good collection

This book contains many excellent essays, and is quite good in showing the differences between conservatism and similar right-wing ideologies (i e libertarianism, religious fundamentalism etc). Although a European could view it as a bit free-market biased (Hayek is represented, Disraeli isn't). The introductions to the various political essays are very helpful in placing them in their historical context.
