Woman's Reading Group

As part of a woman's reading group we thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was exciting and fun to read about the stories and experiences this Author has had. He really seems genuine in his service abilities and respectful to everyone. This book is an enjoyable read and the pictures of celebrities were a real treat. We find that this book appeals to all audiences. Plus it helps that the Author is very handsome. You will enjoy it like we did.

Casino Industry Guy...

I felt this book captured the essence of Vegas and the VIP world. Being in the casino industry I was able to relate to everything the Author was speaking of. Everything in this book really does happen and the book lives up to the title...True Tales of Vip Playground. Instead of bragging about himself, the Author gives us a chance to jump into his shoes and see first hand what he deals with in Vegas on a day to day basis. I read the other review from that Sam Fox guy which was totally inaccurate. How can this person who lives in NY ever know what Casino Hosting is all about in Vegas. That just proves he has no idea of what he's talking about when it comes to Vegas. You will enjoy the stories and the great tips on being a VIP that this book has to offer. My only compliant was that it wasn't long enough I wanted to read more once I finished.

Totally Cool Vegas Insiders Guide!

I picked up a copy at the Vegas airport on my way out of town. I couldn't put it down for the whole flight. This is the Vegas I DIDN'T see, because I don't have millions and I'm not a celebrity. But it confirmed everything I suspected about Vegas being an awesome playground for the rich and famous - and this book is written by the casino host who makes it happen for them. It takes you right into the roped-off casinos and stretch limos and private celebrity parties (which I'll probably never live to see) with Eminem, Matt Damon, Susan Ward, James Caan, Bill Goldberg, Mike Piazza, Muhammad Ali, the entire Sopranos cast and the like. What a job this guy Wilk's got! I'd give my right arm just to follow him around for one night! The part I like best is where he asks YOU to solve some sticky situations he found himself in, like when a rich MARRIED woman came on to him, when a high-rolling guest DEMANDED "female companionship", and when a wealthy Sopranos-type gambler was ready to KILL the obnoxious punks at the next table. After you pick from the multiple choice answers, he reveals what HE did - and why. You quickly find out if you have the guts to make it as a casino host in Vegas. Lastly, I never quite know who (or even how) to tip in Vegas, and I rarely get the reservations and good seats that I want. Not anymore. His "Inside Tipping Tips" chapter is the BEST guide to Vegas tipping I have ever seen! This is worth the price of the book alone, as his insider secrets will get you in wherever you want to go.
