Conisbrough Tales is a modern version of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, being a collection of stories about my home town, Conisbrough, in verse. I am sure that Geoffrey Chaucer's dog could write better poetry than me, but I think (hope) that there are a few felicitous moments where the doggerel rises to the level of verse (and, at rare moments, perhaps even poetry).
