A Scholar With Learning and Style

A retired lawyer, I found this book to be excellent. It is interesting, informative and readable by all. Have you ever heard of a situation where the application of a rule or law seemed to produce a result that seemed obviously unjust? Perhaps a situation involving a "zero tolerance" rule? Well, from the author, I learned of the practice of "rule departure". This knowledge prompted me to use 'rule departure' (and describe it) in a brief published article.
