Confessions Of A Not-So-Dead Libido

This one was not usually my type of read, but I got some enjoyment out of it.

"The Power of Friendship"

After you read this novel, you will surely find a special place on your personal library shelf for this treasure, since it will definitely become a cherished book! You can mark your favorite passages for reading again later to enjoy another minute of laughter or remember special moments with a friend. The charming and amazing Louise and equally delightful Patsy rediscover their femininity after decades of living. Friendship is a constant force as romance intertwines the lives of these two women even more than their past friendship and lives with their spouses. These women entertain the reader as they reconnect with their sexuality and provide "laugh-aloud antics." Webb has created a hilarious book that is definitely one of my favorites. It contains at least one wonderful moment of laughter per minute. Peggy Webb has successfully penned another totally entertaining, beautifully written work of genius. Grab this enchanting novel for hours of superb reading!

delightfully amusing look at friendship

Louise Jernigan and Patsy Leslie became best friends when they were ten years old. Over the next four and a half decades they have been there for one another for the good times and the bad especially when each lost their spouse. Cementing their relationship was when their children Josh and Diana married and soon both will joyfully become grandmothers. However, in spite of being close to each other, both miss having a man in their life. However, no prospects are in sight until now. A hunk has just moved into town with Louise and Patsy determined to make him hers. Will a battle over a man end forty five years of friendship or will the two females cool off their libidos before they go too far? Making a case that people in their fifties have sexual needs, Peggy Webb provides a delightfully amusing look at friendship that has survived everything for over forty-five years, but now teeters due to loose libidos. Readers will enjoy the rotating perspectives of the same event seen differently by the mother in-laws. When a man enters the mix, havoc (and fun for readers) becomes the norm as the audience wonders whether the friendship will survive a male intrusion. Harriet Klausner
