I picked up a copy of "Computer Tales of Fact and Fantasy" recently. It is a wonderful compemdium of computer stories; some of which are humorous, some informative, and yet others are first rate short stories. Being somewhat of a historian, I was fascinated by the story of Babbage's "Analytical Engine", developed in London back in 1837 during the industrial revolution. This is now considered to be the forerunner of today's P.C. This book is a great read for computer users of any ability.
