Completely Irresistible

Before Kasidy Evans' estranged grandmother, Amelia Hancock, died she offered a reward to anyone who could find Kasidy. Kasidy must find the evidence that Amelia had against her father before someone else does, so she disguises herself and heads to the reading of the will to see what information she can get. Wyatt Love works for an escort service called Mr. Complete. Amelia was one of his clients. Wyatt is shocked to discover that Amelia has left him her estate and her three wild poodles, Larry, Moe, and Curly. At the meeting, Kasidy immediately calms the dogs down. Wyatt is very attracted to Kasidy and he seizes the opportunity to get to know her by offering her a job staying at the estate watching over the dogs. Wyatt thinks he has stepped into one sweet deal. He gets to live in a mansion, and the girl of his dreams will be living with him, but suddenly he has a house full of unwanted guests including his twin brother Dillon. Dillon has big plans for getting Wyatt and Kasidy together. There are wild dogs, crazy houseguests and lust heavy in the air in the mansion. Wyatt and Kasidy keep trying to get some privacy but their misunderstandings are keeping them apart. Wyatt seduced me with his looks and charm but when he arranged the slumber party for Kasidy, I fell in love with him. Kasidy is innocence and toughness rolled in a pretty package. Kasidy's misinterpretation of what Wyatt does is hilarious, the secondary characters are all tons of fun and the storyline is witty and charming. Kasidy Evans knew she'd have her hands full when she agreed to take on their care, but she never imagined she'd find them engaged in a tug of war with a gloriously naked man - over his shorts. Apparently the willful canines took exception to their new owner, and Kasidy had to agree. Wyatt Love was nothing but a gigolo, the boy toy of the dogs' deceased mistress. Kasidy told herself his gorgeous, bronzed body was off limits, his wacky sense of humor left her cold, and his unexpected sweetness did not touch her heart, but the truth was, she found Wyatt Love... COMPLETELY IRRESISTIBLE This is the first book I've read of Sheridon Smythe, but I really enjoyed it. I will be reading more of hers.

A Funny, Entertaining Romance!

What happens when a little old lady who used an escort service named "Mr. Complete" dies and leaves her three poodles Larry, Curly, and Moe in the tender loving care of her favorite escort Wyatt Love? A zany but fresh start to a romance that entertains. Wyatt Love is not prepared to have to play babysitter to "the three stooges" but that's what happens when he attends the will reading of a former client. The trio of pooches isn't terribly thrilled with the situation either. When a Kasidy stops the mad dog rush he hires her thinking she will be the answer to his current situation. He couldn't be more wrong...or is he? Kasidy has returned to Atlanta in disguise to see if she can find the proof she needs to clear her father. Her maternal grandmother has died and she's convinced that she will find the papers in her house. So when she's hired by Wyatt to look after the dogs she jumps at the chance. Now if only she can forget the fact that Wyatt was her grandmother's "boy-toy" and that she can't get over the idea of what it would be like to kiss him. Will she be able to do what she has to do...or will life get in the way? This was a laugh out loud read! Ms. Smythe has created a fun cast of characters which is perfect for this character driven romance. Wyatt and Kasidy are a fun set of protagonists and the chemistry the author has developed between them sizzles. This is a quick entertaining read you won't want to miss.

amusing contemporary romance

With the death of her evil wealthy grandmother Amelia Hancock, Kasidy Evans decides to find the tape that the witch used as blackmail over her father. However, Kasidy is taken aback when she overhears family lawyer Drucilla Jacob imply while talking with her grandma's escort Wyatt Love that he was more than just a companion at events; he apparently was her lover. That explains why Wyatt has temporarily control over the fortune and the three poodles that Amelia loved more than her human relatives. Wyatt offers Kasidy the position of canine caretaker, which she accepts as this gives her the opportunity to search for the tape that has controlled her father's behavior and kept him from returning home to Atlanta. However, nothing goes right as others seem to seek items too. Making matters worse as she tries to avoid her "boy toy" employer, Kasidy feels like a traitor as she is attracted to Wyatt; making her wonder about her own values. Fans of an amusing contemporary romance will enjoy this delightful tale starring two strong protagonists with the wrong concept of the other and one of the best supporting casts in years. The story line moves forward based on the misconceptions that Kasidy and to a lesser degree Wyatt believe are true about one another even as neither want to fall in love because of them, but do anyway. As with COMPLETELY YOURS (starring Wyatt's twin), fans will find this fun tale COMPLETELY IRRESISTIBLE. Harriet Klausner
