An interesting fireside read

This book is a collection of essays from the author and contributors such as Harold Knight and David Hale of Knight and Hale Game Calls. This book covers a lot of ground, particularly in the tactics and techniques department. Each essay is typically accompanied by the author's own anecdotes to illustrate a point. The fact that everyone has their own style of hunting is illustrated by the occasionally contradictory information on tactics. One contributor commands you never to make a turkey do what it wouldn't naturally do, another claims it isn't a good hunt unless you do just that. It gives a wide variety of advice for hunting to pick and choose from. The one consistent message is that turkeys will never do exactly what you want when you want it - if it were easy it wouldn't be fun!
