This book is great. Each chapter has exercises to perform. It is indeed everything you need to know from start to finish. The exercises are helpful and help familiarize you with the cards and the symbolic meanings for each card. There are also a variety of layouts and discussions of reversed meanings. This book covers it all!

This book is a valuable resource and a delightful read as well! The author writes as she teaches - engagingly and openly - in a friendly, down-to-earth way. The book itself is invitingly organized and is paced nicely, plus its appendices reveal aspects of cards i'd never considered before. On my shelf, it will join Mary K. Greer's books (Tarot for Your Self, Complete Book of Tarot Reversals, and Understanding the Tarot Court - with T. Little), Bunning's Learning the Tarot, and Kliegman's Tarot and the Tree of Life.
