This series offers updated and redesigned editions of guides to the music of the world's best-known acts. Each guide examines every song in a given artist's recorded repertoire, making it a useful guide for collectors and fans alike. This title examines the music of U2.
This little book was originally written by the man who 'discovered' U2, Irish music journalist Bill Graham. Bill sadly passed away in '96. The current 2004 edition was updated by the editor of U2log.com and current author of U2 Live: A Concert Documentary. Which would be me. I've been into the band since 1984 and was lucky enough to meet Bill Graham on various occasions, in particular when I was doing research for my book 'Gavin Friday - The Light and Dark'. I recommend this book to the casual U2 fan or anyone who would like to have an overview of U2 music available to them. Longtime fans may want to get this book to just have at least some of Bill Graham's great work in their collection, or to see what the editor of U2log.com gets up to when she's not writing leads and headlines for the site.
