The best I've read

Not an encyclopedia in the truest sense but absolutely the most comprehensive book on the game I've ever read. It has superb accounts of the majors, the main professional tours, player profiles and course reviews. But it's not just factual and informative, it's an entertaining read as well and one that will provoke strong debate - as all the best books do. Derek Lawrenson clearly knows his stuff and this shines through in the text.
