Excellent buy for beginning Arabic

Just bought the Arabic for Beginners text, which came with 3 CDs. Very inexpensive. Arabic grammar, basic concepts explained in English, which was very helpful. Great buy.

Good Supplement

I realized when I bought the package that what this would teach me was the Modern Standard Arabic, and not a regional colloqial, but I figured it would be a nice supplement to what I was already learning. It met my expectations. It does not teach the student how to read Arabic (for that, try the (Teach Yourself series)but the conversations were helpful with building my vocabulary.

Excellent Book

This is an amazing Arabic book! I'm originally from Florida and I spent a good amount of time growing up near a local Arab community. I could never quite understand what they were talking about but, after I read this book, I was not only able to understand what they were saying, but I was also able to speak to them in Arabic. This is all due to this wonderful book! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning the language!

Fantastic Arabic Book

I have bought other Arabic books like Alif Baa and Al Qitab, and I was never able to go any further than the alphabet and some very rudimentary vocabulary. But with this book, I could really understand the structure of the language and explanations in English are incredibly clear and helpful. I highly recommend this book to all students of Modern Standard Arabic.
