The Compass Inside Ourselves Review

This early collection by Nancy Lord provides a collection of stories about women who come to realize they have within themselves the strength to express and follow their own true guides. While the short stories are only brief snap shots of th3 awakenings by the subjects of the stories - they cause reflection. Later writings by Lord illustrate her growth in depth as a writer - but the stories are excellent.
