Common Sense Christianity - Book 1 precedes that of Common Sense Christianity - Book 2. Both are written by Matthew Ryan. Common Sense Christianity delves into the "rulebound nature" that many of us feel at times. It may be similar to knocking at a door but never really finding out what has been or is going on in the room behind it. By beginning past any easy to understand basics with simplicity, we may have become a product. By beginning where we should we are given the opportunity to "make sense" of it. By being something before we get there, many of our thoughts and feelings may contradict each other. This may lesson the energy we need from the emotions we feel. We can adapt and change within a changing world when we accurately perceive and "make sense" out of it's basics. The Bible is immortal and we may have to just settle for our mortality and it's limitations when it comes to "feeling" and "thinking" about it in harmony. To sustain, Christianity will always need a backbone to prevent in from manipulation. But, in sharing it, it may take more than reading scripture to others about it and more about "common sense" offered to apply it. It will never be anything you need to force onto another if it's a benefit to them.
