A Common Man's Approach to God

This book was tough to put down...I read it in 3 sittings! It takes you on a straightforward, step-by-step journey through four "systems" of belief, from a 'worldy' pleasure/comfort based system, all the way to a Christian God-based system. The conclusion that the book brings you to is that it is not unreasonable to believe Christianity is true, that this system works the best of all of them. This is a great book to give to someone who is seeking truth, or is frustrated with the futility of life. The writing style is easy-to-read, and it uses stories of people going through every day struggles that sound just like you or someone you know, which really draws you in. I have read and enjoyed several of Morley's books, and I think this one is his best one so far.
