Things to consider...

This book is a bit old but it does do a good job of covering items that should be considered before quitting your job to stay home such as its impact on your career, marriage, and self-esteem. It offers suggestions on saving on housing cars and living expenses but not as much as Jonni McCoy's books. Still its a good primer on how to prepare for the stay-at-home lifestyle.
