Funny adventure

The story follows Beth the cow, as she "borrows" a balloon and flies away with her friend Bird to see the great sights. The book is a nice adventure, with simple rhymes and a use of words that small children can easily follow. I love the cow's innocence as she flies in the balloon happily making havoc all around, and how she can't understand what's wrong with what she's doing or why everyone seems so mad at her. It greatly relates to how a small child can have fun making a mess without understanding what's wrong with what he's doing, while the bird's constant "look out!" cries remind me of a worried mother running after her rampaging toddler. My son has loved this book since we bought it for him two years ago, and now, already a 3 1/2 y.o., he still picks it out many times for us to read together. I highly recommend it!

A fun, fast paced book - a delight

Sent to us as a gift and sitting on our book shelf, our daughter discovered this book by herself. It has now become a favorite of hers, wanting us to read it along with her other favorites almost every night. She is only 19 months old but enjoys the pictures and saying "cow" along with us. The illustrations are brightly colored and appealing. The text is simple and the story is entertaining. I would recommend this book to any parent.

A fun & light-hearted book that your toddler will love.

Come Down Now, Flying Cow!, is a funny, fast and entertaining book. My 2yr old has loved this book since I first read it to her. The illustrations are cute, and the dialogue is simple enough that your child can learn the "chorus" very quickly.Definitely a recommended buy. I have bought it for many of my friend's children.
