Tinky Winky teaches the color purple

This book unfolds into a 15-inch Tinky Winky. It introduces the color purple on each page. Both my 15-month-old and 6-year-old girls love it. The pictures contain favorite things for toddlers like children, balloons, and balls; and the text is simple enough for advanced beginning readers. Tinky Winky is holding his bright red bag on 4 pages. Some parents may find this bothersome. It goes unnoticed by my toddler; and my 6-year-old just thinks that Tinky Winky is "the mom." It is a sturdy board book with the exception of the velcro flap. The flap wears out in a hurry.

Although it is hard to see from the picture this book folds out to make Tinky Winky. The velcro closing is the antenna and unfolds to the feet. The stomach is a small picture board book. We have the whole set of all four Teletubbies. My 18 month old and 3 year old are big fans. the only problem with this book is the constant open and closing causes wear and tear on the antenna and will eventually tear.
