Great Read!

I loved Colorado Christmas. The setting was just divine. I especially fell in love with the quirky animals that CC brought to life as we watch Will and Becky, an unlikely pair, fall in love. Who wouldn't love Louella and the dogs? CC has woven a tale of memorable characters I came to cherish and I look forward to the next O'Malley story.

Colorado Christmas

This is a wonderful feel-good story set against a spectacular scenic background of Spruce Lake, Colorado, in the lead up to Christmas. Judge Becky, who feels the need to maintain her professional status in the courtoom, whilst dealing with the charming Will O'Malley who stands up for what he believes in, occasionally to his detriment, given he's called upon to appear in court. Will's attraction is instant, and he sets out to win Becky's heart ... with some resistance on her part. She's unsure she can trust him, especially with her son. Yet slowly, steadily, Will proves he's the good guy who stands up for the community and willingly volunteers his time and expertise. It's lovely to see the romance develop between Becky and Will, the interaction with the O'Malley family, and touching relationship shared between Will and Becky's son. This book is a definite keeper!

A Christmas Romance

This is a lovely romance with a funny touch. The hero and heroine aren't well matched as characters but this author draws them together very well and they fall in love. Very touching. Achingly real. Cathleen Ross

delightful!

I loved this book! It's sweet, touching and whimsical, showing a quirky slice of American town life reminiscent of "Doc Hollywood". The hero is gorgeous, the heroine sufficiently flawed and I was cheering for them to get together. Already looking forward to more of the O'Malley Men!

You'll Love This Novel!

COLORADO CHRISTMAS by C.C. Coburn C.C. Coburn has hit the spot with her first novel, a heart-warming tale set in small town America. Will, a former ski stuntman, is a member of the O'Malley family. He is fighting to retain the historical integrity of the town in the face of the powerful resources of a development company. Will has a strong following in the town. An irrepressible optimist, and stubborn to the core, he is also a bit of a layabout in the eyes of some. All agree that the man has a heart of gold, though, and his deeds show that. He is kind to animals, the aged, and children. Only Will knows that his belief in himself has been shaken to the core and his career is in tatters. Enter Judge Becky Mcbride and son. Her very first case, with the errant Will as the accused, is a real eye opener for her. When Will decides that the judge is the love of his life and is going to be his wife, the result is more roses than she can manage. Will doesn't even consider defeat, it's not in his nature. Becky is overprotective of her slightly disabled son, but young Nicolas only wants a father, and he soon sets his sights on Will. An unforeseen event forces Will to overcomes his demons. When he risks his life to save that of Nicolas, it settles the outstanding issues for all of them. COLORADO CHRISTMAS is a novel with a great deal of warmth and charm. The main characters are fully convincing and likeable, and are supported by a cast of well-rounded, believable characters - all interested in Will's pursuit of his lady love. This is a case of irresistible force meets immovable object. Humour flows naturally from the characters and the situations they find themselves in. If you like snow. If you like Christmas. If you believe in happy endings (or even if your don't like any of those things) you can't help loving this novel!
