Fantastic Page-turner

This suspense-filled page-turner was hard to put down. Jessica R. Patch did a wonderful job of catching the reader’s attention throughout the book. Even though it is part of the Pacific Northwest K-9 Unit series, it can be read alone. I highly recommend reading this book and the other books in the series. They are all great. I received an advanced copy of this book, and this is my honest opinion.

Inspirational suspense filled with twists & turns

This non-stop action-filled story is a must-read. It follows K-9 officer Ruby Orton and her search and rescue dog, Pepper, as they try to keep widowed, single father, Nick Rossi, and his three-year-old daughter Zoe safe while trying to uncover who keeps trying to take the girl. Keeping her distance emotionally from this loving father and his sweet child may be as difficult as finding whoever wants to harm them. I stayed on the edge of my seat, reading every chance I got, trying to figure out who the culprit was. My guesses constantly changed with the various twists and turns throughout this book. As usual, Jessica R Patch has produced an engaging borderline thriller filled with faith. Although a part of a continuity series, this book can be read as a standalone. I read an advance copy, and the opinions expressed are exclusively mine.
