Cognizant is a book developed to support individuals and couples concerning relationships. We have found there are "Four Quadrants" to a healthy relationship. Each quadrant depends on the others. It is never too late to backtrack to where you left off or to begin to preserve the level you have reached in the quadrant you find yourself situated. Being cognizant is knowing or being aware of relationships, primarily through personal experience. It is learning from your past to create a better future. We have all had some form of relationship; however, when it comes to lasting relationships, the concept of being cognizant needs to be used. It involves understanding, realizing, knowing, and perceiving. Awareness of your surroundings, situations, and thoughts, what you want out of your relationship, and what you are willing to do to keep it healthy is vital to manage your relationships properly. To maintain a long-lasting future with the person you choose to be with, collaboration and the journey from Friendship to Relationship to Partnership to Companionship must take place. Take control of the experience and embrace being cognizant.
