Very good introduction to meditation and contemplation. I would recommended this book to anybody who tries to find better way to comunicate with God,who tries to find his own pathway to inner peace. Great summary of many different approaches to develop spiritual life.

This book is, in my opinion, unique in comparison with the vast variety of other books on prayer - in that it covers a particularly wide range of topics, and yet manages to do this in a simple and light tone. It contains advice on how to quiet yourself and then continues with such topics as the practice of presence, lectio divina, the "dark night", the Cross, centering prayer, contemplation and other related topics.
