This is a wonderful reference book to have for the beginner as well as the advanced seamstress. The book has very good instructions and illustrations to take you through the steps of the many how too's when sewing. After checking the book out of the library several times, I decided I needed my own copy and bought it to add to my collection. I have been sewing for many years and consider myself an advanced seamstress. The book has been very helpful with things you only do once in a while and need a refresher on how to do them. The author is very knowledgeble and easy to understand. This book will be an asset to anyone who sews clothing, crafts or home decorations.
