Breakfast is a favorite

This book gives an interesting story of the origin of this bakery/restaurant and also a nice collection of their scrumptious recipes . I have only tried a few of these so far, but have received compliments on everything I've baked. I like that they provide useful tips and information on "why" the recipes should be made a certain way, with unsalted vs. salted butter, for example. The tips and notes help the baker to recreate these delicious items. I've never been to the Clinton St. Baking Company, but if I have a chance, I would like to visit and enjoy a meal.
