After the operation is completed, C?line is kidnapped in Paris and rescued by Pres. This evokes feelings of love in C?line she never experienced before. They have a short time together where they become bonded emotionally and sexually. However, the nature of C?line's work and her prior associations becomes an obstacle to their developing relationship. C?line is about facing demons, finding one's courage and being transformed through the power of transcendent love.
