For those of you who are looking to expand your education and work with special needs children or adults, this practice book is the one. Easy to understand, covers all information needed to prepare you for the praxis exam in all categories. Includes a pre-test that will prepare you for the exam that covers all categoriesa and information.

Easy to Read

Compared to the previous version's bulkyness, this text is a bout half it's size and easy to read.

Cliffs Test Prep byJudy Paris Praxis II Education of Exceptional Students

I used this study tool along with the ETS study guide for taking the Praxis II test for exceptional children 0353 and 0542. I believe the combination of these two books enabled me to pass my praxis test the first time I took it. By using the multiple choice questions and sample essays, I was able to get a feel for the type of questions that would be asked and the required information that was to be included in the constructed response questions. I would reccomend this book to anyone preparing for the Praxis II exam.

You need to GET this book!!!!

If you are looking to pass the Educational of Exceptional Students: 0353...you need to get this book. I didn't know anything about the 0353. This book covers everything!! See, I didn't get my bachelors in education, I had another major. This book covers all the background of the IEPs, IDEA and how it got started, etc...just everything. I would recommend this book to anybody who want to pass 0353. What a great book!!!!! Oh yeah, I passed my test just by getting this book with a higher score than what was required in my state.

Education of Exceptional Students

I have read every page. I needed an update on the education of exceptional students, and I think that this book provided the information I was looking for. It covered psychological learning theories, IEP's, sample case histories, characteristics, also etiologies. The information on etiologies was definitely a plus because not every book on exceptional students carry that information. For a quick review, this book is a winner. I would definitely recommend it to others who need to brush up. I have read many books on disabilities. However, I'm an oldie that was in need of a refresher. In addition, for anyone who may wish to sit the Praxis tests, it is a high probability that success will be attained on the first try. The book has covered all the aspects of the testing requirements.
