Helps you assess your interests and skills, plan your career, get a scholarship, and get into a college of your choice. This book reviews both subject matter and strategies. It includes four full-length practice exams; practice questions, answers, and explanations in each chapter; an action plan for effective preparation; and more.
I purchased this for my daughter who is prepping for the ACT. This was one of two books she is using as a guide. She really likes this book because it narrows in and calmed her down about the stress of this test. I recommend this book to every 16 year old pre-prep student.

A great condensed version of how and what to study for the ACT.
Excellent resource!

I am a guidance counselor and have used this book to help students prepare for the ACT. I like how the book lets you take practice tests, a little at a time, if you choose. Then helps you analyze your mistakes: were they lack of knowledge or careless mistakes? Then you can analzye your careless mistakes and learn to avoid them. After having a workshop with seniors using this book, one of the girls raised her reading score from 18 to 29. As with all books, you have to READ it, STUDY it, and APPLY it, if you want results.
Great book but needs more sample questions

If you're someone who has a good idea about how the ACT test goes and just want a good practice at sample tests, this seems the perfect book. Included are 2 great full length practice tests and they are really challenging. My son had just come from India and this book really boosted his low confidence. Thanks to the authors
