Good level 1 reading

I got this for my 1st grader who is struggling with reading. The words in this book are simple and grade appropriate. My 5 year old has also started to read these books. These are really great books to encourage your child in reading at home. It gives them the extra practice they need. Clifford is also a favorite with my kids so they love the illistrations and the story. Very helpful for the beginning reader.

Friendship between dog and boy.

This is a very good book on no matter who you are you can always make a friend.

Perfect for beginning readers

When I first received this book, I thought my 6 yr. old niece would think it was a "baby" book, with only one easy sentence per page. Was I wrong! She read the sentence on each page, then grinned as she looked at each picture. She laughed out loud when she got to the page of them making faces at each other. She even went back to the book later to look up that page and laugh again. I can tell it will be one of our favorites.

This is an excellent book for beginning readers. There is a lot of repetition and simple words early readers will recognize. And of course, it's Clifford!
