'Great for History Lovers!

I got this book in the early '80's and lost it in a flood, (I paid way more for it then.g)... It is an easy going portrayal of how it was to live in the first decades of the 1900's... Cleora Butler talks about her experience cooking for the wealthy of Tulsa, and how jazz musicians would have her cook for them whenever they came into town... I liked the pictures of vintage cooking implements too. This is a great book for anyone who wants a realistic glimpse of history instead of just the dry, scholarly accounts usually offered. The stories are from a woman who actually lived through those times.
