The best book for addiction recovery

This is the best book I've read on addiction recovery. It was superb in helping an addict to understand how the atonement can heal anyone, especially those who are caught in addiction. I highly recommend this to anyone. It is written to an LDS audience, but anyone can benefit greatly from reading it and following its recommendations.

Hits at the root

One of the best books I've read for dealing with any addiction. It hits at the root of the cause rather than trying to cover up the symptoms, and then offers a way out. Adapting the 12 step program to LDS beliefs and using the author's own experiences with his addictions, you receive a well-thought out plan on how to deal with these difficult issues.
