Great food, easy recipies

I love this cookbook! My husband and I heard about the Mediterranean diet, so we thought we'd experiment a little. This cookbook has great recipies and is easy to follow. Great commentary on the use of ingredients and the cuisine itself. The only thing I don't like is some of the measurements are not standard, or it will call for "8 tomatoes" instead of a measurement, or just "salt" instead of a measurement. We were able to get it close enough the first time around, and then we can tweak it for the next time. I would love to get another cookbook from this author.

This recipe book has delicious, healthy, and simple to make recipes. Truly a worthwhile investment.

This book has two titles

This is a very good basic Mediterranean cookbook with lots of pictures that I like. It has a soft cover and it has the same content as the hard cover titled, "Foolproof Mediterranean Cookery." I did not know that when I ordered the book. I think the two different titles are misleading.

Quick, easy, so delicious

I checked this book out from my local library and after making several recipes, I purchased it. The recipes are fast and easy and so delicious. Every recipe turns out perfectly every time. Even the fish and meat dishes are amazing. Some favorites include: Couscous Salad, Aubergine (Eggplant) Caviar, Red Mullet in a Saffron and Ginger Tomato Sauce, Cod with Salsa Verde, Chicken with Tomatoes and Honey, Greek Stifatho...to name a few. Our family meal plan includes a meal from this cookbook weekly and we have been using it for over six months. I have looked at other books by this author and they are wonderful, but I find this one to be so easy and accessable.
