cool book for kids

claudia's grandmother, mimi had stroke. janine seems to be controlling mimi's life and she's ruining the summer playground program!

This book is great for kids and teens.

I think that this book (Claudia and Mean Janine)is a wonderful book for ages 10 to 16 because it helps kids cope with "mean"siblings and/or friends and family with illnesses.

Claudia vs. Janine

The Kishi family has been "bright", if I may, for many generations. When Claudia comes along, after Janine, the genius (really, not literally!), her parents think that she is a mistake. This book shows how Claudia IS smart, in other things beside algebra and science. Her summer changes, and so does her sister's!

Claudia's summer takes an unexpected turn.

I like this book because it shows what sisters can really be like. It's told from Claudia's point of view who thinks she's a dummy compared to Janine her sister. Claudia makes some tough choices when someone close to her becomes ill. You'll love this book - its my favorite!
