"My Goal Is To Read This Entire Book Over Four Days, Right Until Halloween Night, Or Maybe Longer"

While this book is titled Classic Spooky Stories, my copy is called Spooky Stories; somehow, in the printing of this book, various editions were created. Well, what I like about this book, is the unusual nature of the stories contained within, 40 in all; the book is published in Great Britain, and that means the stories are not your usual "I've heard these before" kind of stories. Here are some of the story titles: The Hungry Ghost, The Toast Ghost, A Night in the Haunted House, Spooky Spells, Witches on the Run, The Monster Marching Band, Little Ghost Lost, and The Christmas Spirit. The pages are not numbered, but there are about 300 pages; when I started counting, I got lost in a couple of stories. Right now, I am looking for someone to borrow this book, seriously. Then, he or she would enjoy the silly, spooky, and scary stories, just for the sake of them being stories, and not real events. But if no one borrows the book, I will just start reading it for myself. Perhaps, I will start reading the stories on Friday night, for an hour or two; I don't know how many days it will take, if I want to get them all read. I could read each night, and just soak up all the unusual themes of Halloween, and not go screaming around the house. I think I'm going to fix a light meal, each night, and add some milk or maybe a little punch; cookies would be nice, too, maybe, even an apple or a banana; water would be okay, too. Then, I'll finish all my chores and turn off the computer and the television, so nothing disturbs me, that is, other than the characters in these stories. I'm not going to take any of this stuff serious, because I know it's all story-telling. It doesn't look as if there will be many "trick or treaters" at my door; I could just leave a basket of goodies on my porch, and have a sign that says, "Enjoy yourself, have some treats....I am busy reading Halloween Stories", inside. "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!"
