Excellent Book

What an excellent book! The Countess shares an abundance of information with readers. I especially enjoyed the sections where Countess LuAnn shared parts of her personal story.. Congratulations Countess!

VERY ELEGANT

The Countess has done a great job with manners and class. If you you have manners and treat people well, you will be considered classy and elegant. She does a fine job teaching this in the book.

A CHARMING READ!

I bought this book last week, and I must admit, I was not able to put it down! I found the Countess captivating to read and extremely forthright with her story of her rise to the top! Her openness in this book, makes her easier to relate to when you realize she was once at the level of most people and is not ashamed to state this. In fact in many ways throughout the book, she credits her upbringing with propelling her to her current status. Therefore, I was surprise to find a book about "CLASS" so very approachable and fun to read. Now did I really think I would learn anything from this book? Unsure going into it, but I really did! The section on "The Art of Being Yourself" actually made me consider my self confidence level and I have taken some tips from it, and I intend on working harder on first impressions. I also love how the Countess stresses to make other people comfortable at all costs and to make them feel great about themselves. All lessons that I will apply! In closing, I loved Luann's story and took lots away from this book. With so many books on the market that you read and quickly forget, this makes "Class With The Countess" my favorite Spring read thus far. I greatly recommend.

Right Perspective

I , as well, am a big fan of the reality show "The Real Housewives of NYC" and I wanted to read this book to fine-tune my knowledge on etiquette. I believe that proper etiquette does not mean that you are supposed to be an artifical stepford wife. The Countness has great tips on the "do's" and "don'ts" when it comes to parties, gatherings, in general... It is worth the read- She does mention her personal life story but that is only to show her how she came about to become a countess and also to point out that the "title" Countess does not make the women... life experiences do. I personal like her (on the show) and I believe that she is an authority on etiquette in this world we live in... It's a matter of perspective...

We love the book!

This is my first review and I HAD to write because of the shocking number of angry reviews. I feel if all the personal issues were put aside perhaps one could be open to enjoying this book. Now, I don't know her but I do know when someone is being unfairly attacked. On the other hand, the aforementioned reviewer could be correct about the negative reviews. Maybe, most of the negative reviews are to deceive potential buyers. In this case the negativity is nothing more than a hurtful game. Have fun reading the book and please decide for yourself :)
