A Hidden Gem

Fantastic writing! This author makes it clear that growing up in an affluent family can be more complex than the easy life--especially for a child. A heart-wrenching and honest exposure of feelings. I felt as if I was pulled into the experience myself, and got to know the family personally. I'm glad I found this book and recommend it highly.

Class: The Wreckage of an American Family

A beautiful find! This is the type of book you wonder how you ever missed and count your blessings that you happened upon it. A lost child and a lost family is a story that belongs to all times, especially when told in a straightforward but heartwarming way without personal pain being the message. This is a book for everyone who has been a part of a family and for everyone who loves extraordinary writing.
