A discussion of why kids join gangs and the options they have. Written in "street language." This description may be from another edition of this product.
I couldn't put this book down. I found it to be a perfect combination of personal stories and information. The author obviously knows his stuff, he doesn't come across with an agressive agenda, and his recommendations for change are informed and balanced. At the same time, though, he makes no apologies for his Christian convictions, believing Christ is the best hope for kids on the streets. A perfect companion book/follow-up reading to "The Cross and the Switchblade." I recommend it for anyone with a heart for our kids and our cities.
