Fascinating History of the Greatest Show on Earth

I first read this book as a teen and loved it. It gives a fascinating history not only of the medical practices of its time but of the whole circus in general from putting the tents up to taking them down, through travel difficulties, illnesses and disasters to great friendships and hilarious animal antics. I still enjoy reading this book and I highly recommend it to anyone age 8 to 80! A great read and a good learning experience.
